Origin / History .The "Selles sur Cher" is only produced in small natural areas located south of Loire river, where the climate is mild : Sologne, Touraine, champagne Berrichonne.
.The taste is so fine that we understand why kings settled in the Loire and Cher rivers valleys.
Choice .Ripe or plain, ashed or not, the dominant flavour is hazelnut, knowing that most of people eat it when the Selles blooms in blue.
.Best seasons : end of spring, summer and fall.
